Brussels, 28 June 2012 – TVG, the world’s first provider of Life Science partnering conferences,  invites you to attend BioPartnering FutureEUROPE™ (BPFE) 2012.

BioPartnering Future Europe™ is an evolution of BioPartnering Europe (BPE), the life science industry’s longest-running partnering event, celebrating its 20th year.  This year’s event will be held in Brussels, with subsequent annual events taking place in Stockholm and other European capitals.

BPFE will focus on deal-making “in Europe, with Europe, meeting with the world” as seen in the launch of the European Village exhibition, showcasing European countries, regions and bioclusters in a pavilion format.

BioPartnering Future Europe™ will introduce unique opportunities for partnering with program highlights designed to address relevant topics at every level of company organization. Such unique features include a focus on small and medium enterprises (SME’s) through a dedicated program track with special pricing, featuring workshops and roundtables at the only truly pan-European event.  In addition, the event will host Europe’s first Biotech Rising Star Award, awarded to an up-and-coming biotechnology company, as selected by an independent judging panel of top industry executives.  Other unique features include a policy track presented by top European regulatory officials, a financial track and a panel discussion featuring the results of an international survey of C-level biotech executives rating top pharmaceutical companies.

With a mixture of leadership sessions, presentations, educational tracks and workshops, this event is not to be missed.  Confirmed key speakers include: Christophe Weber, President of GSK Vaccines, Mene Pangalos, EVP Innovative Medicines, Astra Zeneca; Mr. Michele Garufi, NicOx Chairman and CEO; Dr Ricardo Manetti, Head of Negotiations, Business Development and Licensing at Novartis and, Anton Loomans, SVP, General Counsel – Strategic Alliances & Business Development –  also with GSK Vaccines.  The policy and financial tracks will explore regulatory issues, challenges for the biotechnology industry and ways to ensure deals are financed.

BioPartnering Future Europe™ is supported by the European Commission and backed by significant supporters, including biotech innovators, global pharmaceutical leaders and over 20 European trade associations, EuropaBio, European BioPharmaceutical Enterprises and the European Biotechnology Network.

Dr Robert Lee Kilpatrick, Partner, TVG, said: “Our aim with BPFE is to make Europe more globally competitive in the pharma and biotech arena and we believe that our new model will allow more companies to partner and collaborate with greater ease.  We will be working to ensure we have on-going channels of communication that will create a community atmosphere within the life sciences sector. ”

BPFE is the ultimate pan -European biopharma deal-making event with a platform designed to build European life science competitiveness in a global market. To register for your free media pass, please
