Sunday evening's opening reception at BPN was highly attended with over
400 delegates who took the opportunity to get a jumpstart on networking
and dealmaking. The first full day of the conference included a welcome
from the BPN 2010 producers and hosts: Mr. Peter Brenders, President & CEO, BIOTECanada, Ms. Karimah Es Sabar, President, LifeSciences British Columbia, Dr. Robert Lee Kilpatrick, Partner, TVG, Mr. Ryan Radke, President, BioAlberta, and The Honourable Dr. Moira Stilwell, Minister of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development, Vancouver-Langara.
Shortly after the welcome delegates gathered to hear from Keynote Speaker, Mr. Michael G McCully,
Senior Manager, Deloitte Recap LLC about the deal landscape in 2009.
Monday's events continued with ongoing Podium Presentations, Leadership
Sessions and Workshops, whilst hundreds of face-to-face meetings and
fourteen Exhibitions on biotechnology created invaluable connections.
In addition to all of the face-to-face networking opportunities at
BPN many delegates are utilizing Twitter to network, discuss
trends and promote their companies. To join in on the conversations add
