How can I ship any conference materials back to my office? FedEx representatives will be available at the QEII Conference Centre to assist you. Please note that there is certain information you must have with you if FedEx is to get your packages to their final destination with the minimum of hassle. We recommend, therefore, that you ensure you have the following with you before you leave for the conference.
Your FedEx Account Number:
This is a nine-digit code and can be found on all FedEx Air Waybills used by your company. This is the account to which FedEx will bill the shipment. If you remain unsure of your FedEx account number, please call your local FedEx Customer Support Team who will be happy to check it for you. Details of your local Customer Support are available online at
www.fedex.com/us/customersupport/express/contactus.html. FedEx staff at the conference will not be able to research your account number for you.
Credit Card:
If you do not have a FedEx account number, please ensure you have a credit card to which the shipment can be billed. The card must be presented to the FedEx representative who accepts the shipment. She or he will advise you of the cost of the shipment.
Please note that for security reasons FedEx representatives will not be able to accept cash or cheques (checks) at the conference.
For shipments to the United States, FedEx recommends that you have available your SSN and EIN numbers (where applicable). This should help expedite U.S. customs clearance.
For your convenience, all relevant paperwork and packaging will be available at the conference – all you will need to do is complete your destination address and account details.
How do I stay informed onsite about my meetings? 1. Via SMS (Text) Messaging: You can stay informed about your onsite meetings with SMS text messaging by entering your mobile number into the Mobile text field in your biopartnering.com personal profile. The system will send a text message to your mobile phone to inform you about a new incoming request, a newly scheduled meeting, or a canceled meeting. If you receive a text message, simply follow the instructions stated in the message.
Please check your biopartnering.com account to verify your mobile number. To receive the SMS messages, you must enter the country code for your mobile number, as well as the number itself. Attendees are responsible for any costs associated with using the SMS notification system. SMS messages will originate from a US telephone number. Please contact your wireless carrier for more information.
2. Via the Meeting & Message Desk: During the event you can continue to schedule meetings by visiting the biopartnering.com Meeting & Message Desk. In addition to assisting you with requesting and scheduling meetings, the staff at the Desk will also be able to print copies of your meeting schedule.
How does it work?
Go to the biopartnering.com Meeting & Message Desk.
Tell the staff what you would like to do: cancel or reschedule an existing meeting, submit a new meeting request, receive a copy of your schedule, etc.
Fill out any necessary forms that the staff will hand to you.
From time to time, check the electronic message monitor (large screen TV) to see if your name is posted.
If you see your name, return to the Desk. Your name will be posted to alert you that either the attendee responded to your meeting request or that another attendee has left a message for you. If you have a Blackberry or another mobile device enabled to receive emails, you will also be notified via email. The email will instruct you to go the Desk to pick up your message(s).
When can I check in onsite?
Onsite check-in opens 5:30 pm on Sunday, October 12. To avoid the longer lines on Monday morning, please come by Sunday at 5:30 pm and pick up your name badge for quicker entry to the conference on Monday. Please bring a business card with you to registration to expedite the check-in process. For more information, please email April Green.

How do I apply for a company presentation? Is there a deadline?
Applications to present are accepted online. There is no deadline to apply, but presenting company opportunities are limited in number and reviewed in the order received, so it is recommended to apply early to ensure the best chance for acceptance.
How many presenting companies are featured in the program?
180 biotech presentations are offered: 40 Open House dedicated meeting space presentations and 140 Podium presentations.
How much does a company presentation cost and who should I contact for more information about a presentation?

I have submitted my presenter application. What happens now?
The first thing that will happen is that you will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received. Please note: this receipt is not a confirmation of acceptance; only a confirmation that the committee has received your application. Please be sure to submit an up to date email and phone number with your application; the committee may be contacting you to request additional information before your application is approved. If your application is approved, you will receive an email from the Head of the Presenter Selection Committee, Lila Taylor. This email will have a pdf attached which is an estimate for the total cost of the company presentation package you have been approved for. You should review this estimate immediately and reply to the estimate with an email that has the words ESTIMATE APPROVED in the subject line. When Lila has received your approval for your estimate your company’s presentation will be confirmed. If you do not approve your presentation estimate, you are not confirmed as a presenter and your presentation may be assigned to another company.

When will I receive my conference badge?
You will receive your name badge and handbook when you check-in on-site.
While registering, my credit card was declined. Why is this?
There can be a number of reasons why a credit card can be declined. One of which is if the bank which issued the card does not recognize Technology Vision Group LLC as a vendor. Banks may decline the transaction even if there are sufficient funds in the account. This will require a phone call to the bank for pre-authorization of the transaction. Another reason for a “declined" message can be that the billing address does not match the billing address for the card. The billing address must match the address to where the bill is sent.
Do I receive an ad in the conference handbook?
Certain levels of sponsorship include ads in the conference handbook. Contact Christine Bennett for details.
What sponsorship packages are available and what benefits are included with each?
A variety of sponsorship packages at different price levels are available, which offer exceptional promotional opportunities to a targeted audience of decision makers. For details, please contact Nancy Connelly.
Who do I contact for sponsorship opportunities?
Please contact Nancy Connelly to discuss sponsorship package options.
