About BioPartnering China™ (BPC):

The first life science partnering event in China joins the TVG Global Network
BioPartnering China (BPC) is China’s first BioPartnering event, which began in 2005 as collaboration between various groups: China National Center for Biotechnology Development (CNCBD), European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB), Europe Unlimited, TVG and others; held in Beijing, Shanghai, Munich and London. In June 2009, BioPartnering China 1.0 was held in Tianjin, China, followed in October 2009 by BioPartnering China 2.0 which was produced in London.
 
The 4th Annual BioPartnering China will be produced in December of 2011 and is intended to encompass all of China, showcasing successful life science businesses and emerging R&D companies. BPC will rapidly connect China-based companies with the global market through the Conference and Partnering Network already established in Europe, India, Brazil, and North America (USA and Canada).
 

Opportunities

BPC offers three days of networking in one location allowing delegates to meet with decision-makers from leading biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and investment companies from around the world for face-to-face partnering meetings, presentations, expert panels, and exhibitions. BPC facilitates partnering, business development, investment efforts and face-to-face meetings supported by the biopartnering.com online network. BPC provides business opportunities to various groups of people:

• Commercial Opportunities: Many healthcare and life science companies are commercially successful in China. Some of these are Chinese, and others are Chinese subsidiaries of foreign companies. Success is found in the areas of human health, animal health, and plant health, as well as other segments of the life sciences, such as foods, materials, and energy. Successful business ventures include prescription and OTC pharmaceuticals, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), but also supporting companies such as CROs, CMOs, clinical trials, and other service companies who assist life science companies to expand their capabilities more affordably.
  
  
• R&D Opportunities: BPC gives big pharma companies access to innovation from emerging Chinese biotech companies. Many big pharma companies are building new R&D centers in China, and they want to showcase their expertise to talented Chinese scientists for recruiting purposes, but also to identify technologies and products at an early stage. These companies may not yet be commercially successful, but they are moving in this direction.
  
  
• Investment Opportunities: Chinese and foreign investors will be able to see many life science investment opportunities – in commercial businesses, new ventures, domestic and foreign funds. BPC brings together investors who also want to see their portfolio companies achieve partnering deals and expand commercially in the large China market.
  
  
• Networking Opportunities: Meeting the right people. Success in China depends on being connected to people who can help you move quickly to commercial viability. BPC will attract the people you need to know!
